Personal Umbrella

Earlier this year, WAIC launched is first "Troop Trunk" drive.  From April through June 2008, our agents were given large boxes to fill with necessities and treats for US Soldiers in Iraq.  The support we received was phenomenal.  Many of our agents filled more than one box!

With the support of our agents and industry partners, we collected almost 1,000 lbs. of goods to send to twelve groups of soldiers.  Many of these fighting men and women were friends or family of our agents or employees.  Others were found on www.anysoldier.com.  All of the soldiers we helped were deployed from the Maryland/DC Metro Area.  Over 500 individuals benefitted!   The Campaign was a huge success, and we sincerely appreciate all who contributed.
